other,其他的,也是没有限定的,如：

这里的others 是没有范围的,可能是我们学校的学生,也可能是上海的,中国的,甚至全世界的学生.
the other 是有限定,有范围的,如：

这里the others 就有范围了,一定是我们班除了在教室里的以外的全部学生.
