This paper starts with important significance of historical relics in the development of tourism,raises the view that develope toursim would benefit the protection of historical relics while in the meantime,brings some negative influences to the protection work that can't be ignored.
therefore,we should rationally use historical relics to promote the development of tourism on the premise of the well protection on it,at the same time,stimulate the protection work with the development of toursim,and perfectlly combine protection with utilization.
Finally,this paper raises some protecion measures from the aspect of the sustainable development of heritage tourism.
