第一个that是用于引导表语从句(be+that+句子,少这个空成一句话的就用that,否则就用what);而第二个that是强调句型(It is/was+要强调的部分+that+剩下句子成分),是固定用法,这句话就相当于强调是他考试失败这个原因使他父母着急.

这是考祈使句和省略句的用法.
首先,排除A和D,A前面用现在分词不符合句中and前后一致的用法,而D是条件状语从句,有从句就不能出现and,如果把and去掉,加上逗号,这个选项就对了.
然后,C选项不定式一般是表示将要做的事情,同时也不符合and的用法,不正确.
另外,对于现在分词和过去分词,现在分词多用于主动,而过去分词多用于被动,只需判断句子意思要表达的是主动还是被动就可以很好的运用了~
