答案是选B,老实说我的第一感觉是选B,可是分析了一下后我又觉得选A,结果就错了,为什么A不可以吖...

1 由于time后有定语从句修饰,所以需要定冠词the
2 四个选项都合(语)法:
A和C都需要of连接名词(quite a lot sth,quite a bit of sth);
B和D可直接连接名词(quite a few sth,quite a little sth)
quite a lot of+各种名词; A错
quite a few-可数名词;
quite a bit of-不可数名词;C错
quite a little-不可数名词 D错
另外,它们都可独立使用,即省略后面的名词或of+名词
3 A听起来中国,hundreds and thousands成百上千的人
C是英语式的,数字的格式为逗号分割的3位显示:123,345,123 在描述是,根据这种格式,在每一个逗号处用of连接
10-90:tens
100-900:hundreds
1,000-9,000:thousands

100,000-900,000:hundreds of thousands
1,000,000-9,000,000:millions

1他做这件事用了我做这件事的三分之一的时间，三分之一是one-third,which took me 是the time 的定语从句。
2有quite a few 和quite a little .没有quite a lot.
3习惯表达，不按语法出牌。
