When attending to college, there is an examination that every student has to takeinto consideration that a high mark represents a strong evidence for a goodcommand of English. As a result, it comes to a phenomenon that many studentsare attending CET-4 or CET-6 again and again.
When talking about this issue, people’s opinions vary from person to person. On theone hand, on the ground of competition environment, the better students arepreferred to be chosen by enterprises. For , sometimes, the higher marks relateto stronger ability. In order to keep up with the demands of enterprises,students have to take much more time to concentrate on the exams. Thoughseveral times of practical experience, college students found the way to have abetter perform in the exams.
On the other hand, seriously speaking, marks don’t represent the ability. Manystudents take the exam repeatedly to adapt to the need of society, yet ignoringthe another ability---working experience. They spend couples of time and moneyto get a higher mark, but may not learn some useful skills. Working in ancorporation, requires communication skills, the sense of cooperation, accurateobserving ability and so on. Higher marks don’t stand for everything.
Personally speaking, some times, the full mark may be a proof for one’s learning ability,but it doesn’t show every facet of a person. If we only focus on it, we mightlose the chance to improve ourselves.
