答案其实不能单纯的从already来判断,因为already 也可以这样用.如：
I taught him a lesson already.在这句话中就不是用完成时了.所以答案应该从后面的时间状语——as he has been fired（当他已经被开除时）,被开除这个动作是发生在过去,因此根据句意很容易判断出前半句he is said _____ his position already 也是发生在过去.假如句子变成he was said的话,那选to leave就正确.只可惜句子是he is said开头的,为了证明动作是发生在过去,只能将to 后面的动词改成现在完成时.

因为要表示已经完成的动作，所以用完成时

看到答句中有ALREADY 就应该马上想到这个句子应该用现在完成时啊!
