Hi! How are you? I am writing this letter to tell you about my favourite Chinese traditional festival, Chinese New Year.
I like Chinese New Year (CNY), because everyone in my family will be at home during that period of time. Our parents will always bring us to our relatives or friends' house to visit them. And children like me will receive a lot of 'red packets'. I like that the best.
My parents usually buy lots of goodies before CNY and we will decorate our house together.
On the CNY eve, every family will have a reunion dinner when everyone will come home and have a dinner together. In my family, my parents and grandparents will always cook many delicious food.
After the dinner, we will sit in front of the television and watch the CNY celebration. When it reaches mid-night, the celebration ends and we will go out of our house and play with fireworks.
